A Sci-Fi Depiction of Future Romance or Modern-Day Patriarchy?

Rent to Own

Hudsyn Funnell, a wealthy, self-professed technology nerd, leaned over from the driver’s seat of his sleek coupe and kissed his gorgeous date, Allison Six.

Flesh compressed, tongues entwined, machinery purred.

After the hungry kiss, Hudsyn said, “Let’s go back to my place.”

Alison blinked. “You did not purchase that item for tonight’s transaction.”

Hudsyn smirked. “Darn. Next time, then.”

“Yes.”

“Can’t wait.”

Alison opened the car door. “After the third date and a consummation, we can discuss ownership terms.” She exited and strolled into the towering Robotic Solutions warehouse.

“Finally.” Hudsyn waved to Allison and chuckled. “A woman made to order.”
